@jthingelstad My understanding is that the lithium battery charge does’t weaken, it just stops without warning. If so, you may not get the ‘low battery’ chirp at all, and wouldn’t know if the detector is working or not.

@rogerscrafford Worth noting for sure. In my case these are also wired into the house electric so battery is truly just for backup.
