Has anyone used .Blot with Git instead of Dropbox? What do you edit in. Where are the files stored?. I have had a git account for awhile, but I use it basically as a way to sign into things so I am Git-hub illiterate. I am trying to move away from Dropbox

@klandwehr I recently changed my Blot host to git. I edit posts in iA Writer, then sync with git using SourceTree by Atlassian. I used git at the command line to learn it, then used GitHub Desktop for a while, but SourceTree was the nicest native experience. The whole process is more manual than Dropbox because you have to intentionally commit and push changes to the server, but it's not that hard. On iOS, I even went ahead and got the app Working Copy, which provides a git sync into the Files app so that I can use iA Writer on the iPad and access my full history of Blot posts there too.

@klandwehr I edit my Blot posts in MacDown and then commit from the command line.
