@canion I use Inoreader, and use the Web app on the Mac and my medium-sized iPad, and the Inoreader app on my iPad mini. I should take another look at NNW.

@MitchW I currently use Inoreader as my backend but hate their apps. NNW connects to it well. I’m thinking of switching to iCloud sync when my Inoreader sub expires.

@canion For me it is sort of the original “Mac-assed Mac”. Did the term not come from Brent or am I mixing something up here?

@V_ It might have been, I think. I recall Gruber talking about it but yeah, maybe Brent invented it.

@canion Nice shout-out to NNW! You also mentioned DEVONThink, and I've just started using that as my RSS reader. We'll see how it goes, but DT is such a cool app I'm inclined to squeeze as much value from it as I can. 😋 If it can be a one-stop shop for all web reading — and perhaps the notes taken from such reading — that'd be the ultimate. (Right now, of course, it mostly contains 400 PDFs/bookmarks I mean to read...)

@danj DevonThink is amazing. I don’t use it as my feed reader, but I do subscribe to occasional feeds where I want to archive the content. It is an amazing app.

@canion Yes, Inoreader is pricey if you're not using the advanced features and if you only subscribe to a few feeds.
