Those of you cross-posting from here to Mastodon, do you post there directly as well? Do you follow different people on M.b and Mastodon?

@canion I actually saw a post from you on Mastodon right after I posted this - how are you deciding what to post where?

@canion @rknightuk I too don't have a great system and am struggling now that I have really enjoyed using Mastodon lately. I haven't turned off cross posting mostly because I have not quite figured out what I would want to post in one place vs the other. I think that is because most of my posts are short / picture posts.. So I am of no help but curious what others do too.. 🤷‍♂️

@ericmwalk @canion Sort of dumping my thoughts at the moment but I like to keep a copy of my things (posts, movies watched, whatever) in a format I control so I like having everything in MB. But as I just posted here my feed is overwhelmed with Masto peeps now.

I think what I'm going to do is cross-post from here, follow mastodon users there, and do replies wherever. I bought 2 years of omg.lol anyway so I have a long time to test it out without spending money on my own instance or some other stupid thing I'm likely to do 😂

@rknightuk don’t feel bad about whatever you do. We are all still trying to figure it out. 

@jonginn Whoops - Micro.blog. It's what I use to run my blog but I can also follow Mastodon/ActivityPub users from here.

@rknightuk I reply to people directly on mastodon, i might post directly there if it's a thought I had while scrolling but I try to initiate on micro blog - as little as i do.
