@greghiggins it can be a bit problematic when your coworkers don’t know it but I’m so with you. Once you start using it, it’s just so much easier.

@ChrisJWilson Agreed. I tried to explain the benefits at one point but it went over their heads. The idea of separating content from style is not obvious for most people.

@canion I don’t think the creators expect it to either. The current web really is too complex tho. You shouldn’t need millions of dollars and a team of engineers to build a browser.

@canion It's so simple to learn, too.

@ChrisJWilson The great thing is if you write in Markdown and it doesn't convert it still makes sense (unlike HTML). If I put * around a word and that's all you see, you can still read the word and it looks like I'm trying to emphasize that word for some reason.

@greghiggins exactly. People get the idea even when they’ve never seen it before. Okay, some are less obvious but the basics translate well.
