After years of using Pocket Casts, I moved to Castro. I used Castro a long time back and have always liked their approach to loading podcasts in an inbox-like environment where you, as a user, can choose what to do with the specific episode.

@canion, I still need to download the iPad app, as I’m curious to try that experience, too. I always travel with only my iPad and like the idea of listening to podcasts from that device while on an airplane, for instance.

@camiel Maybe I should look into Castro, I have used PocketCasts for years as well as back in the day it was my one way to use it on both my iPhone and Android phone when I had to have two for work reasons.
