@bsag I’m glad we live in the era of transparent bobbin windows. My mom’s machine was all metal, so I couldn’t even peek!

@Cheri I’m sure that on my mother’s (all metal🤘) sowing machine the spool(s) was on the top back of the machine. @bsag
