I had my first day back at my fieldwork site in more than 6 months. Today was just catching up with what has changed (spoiler alert: a lot 🤣) and planning future work, but I was so happy to be working outside and not in my house!

@bix Well your (and my) behaviour would certainly be unusual because most visitors spend about 20 seconds in front of an exhibit before deciding there’s nothing there. I love seeing people spending time quietly and patiently watching. Did your time in front of the red pandas get you some good images?

@bix They do. And they are mostly mounds of ginger fur when asleep 💤

@bix Those are beautiful portraits! I really like the red panda ones and the primate portraits. And the giraffe licking the tree is great. Your patience definitely pays off.
