I don’t know if I’m alone but my favorite bird is the raven, I love the sound (I will not call it “song”) they make when they are flying high in the air

@jemostrom I love the ravens too. Dark and mysterious. I find their chatter reassuring, like they're protectively watching over me. They're wonderful flyers. They sometimes come down from the mountains and venture into Glasgow.

@jemostrom when I was a kid they were a rare sight here in the southern UK. Now they are ubiquitous. I love seeing and hearing them. So many sounds they make. Cronks and pops. A fantastic bird.

@jemostrom I enjoyed reading this while hearing crows doing exactly that over my house.

@a_seagull_story @strandlines Thanks for letting me know that I'm not alone. Some people just stare at me like I'm crazy 😝

@jemostrom favourite of mine too. Got a few photos in my blog header (converted to B&W) fascinating birds. @bsag posted a wonderful description of their aerobatics a while ago.

@johnjohnston it makes me happy to see that I'm not the only one to like them, I thought I was alone 🤷🏻

@bsag thanks, I never quite get close enough, turning them to B&W seems to work quite well. Heard a few on my walk today but away in the distance.

@johnjohnston I love a raven. They are so difficult to photograph though, so I think you did an amazing job.
