@bryan Thankfully mine are a bit less than that... but yes. So annoying. I lowered my 401k contrib to make room for it.

Mine are gone but my wife has $50k from grad school. I guess we make too much combined to benefit from income-based. I still need to do the math on filing taxes separately, but they don’t make that easy.

@bryan I looked at filing separately once and the math didn’t pan out. That said, we do not have kids, so not sure how that would change it. @jmanes

@clovertalk curious if you looked into this before or after the Trump tax cuts? I haven’t done it since then and I’m curious if it maths different.
