Lately I’ve found out that I don’t really enjoy coffee. Pondering what my options are, just try to drop it altogether or try to find something else to satisfy that habit

@tkoola I haven’t dropped coffee, but I have decreased how much I drink it (unintentionally) by drinking tea in the afternoon and evening. Ginger tea after every meal, then tea with honey in the evening.

@tkoola I’d explore hot tea. But not Lipton 😉 There is a wide range of types of tea. Black tea has caffeine in general and can range from mild, like Breakfast teas, to smoked oolong. And there are a ton of herb-based teas, mostly without caffeine. Even amongst green teas there is a huge range of texture and flavors. For me the black teas are the best substitute for coffee, herbals for a “change of pace”. ☕️ 🍵

@tkoola I like using Teeccino as my evening beverage. It's brewed like coffee, made of chicory/date/fig/carob concoctions, many different flavors, and is herbal so naturally decaf. I've heard of people using it to wean themselves off of coffee. It's a bit expensive but there are times I prefer its body over the thinner herbal teas. There are probably similar herbal coffee replacements.

@tkoola I'm right with you, have no idea when it happened but I was down to 1 cup a day and almost given it up. My diet cola intake has increased and I still drink tea.
