@brentsimmons This is basically a Planet en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plan... Though Pilgrim's version had terrible/no search, I haven't tried the newer ones.

@mdhughes Good point. Except that it’s much larger and is all about search. Otherwise the same under the hood: list of blogs, feed crawler.

@brentsimmons Interesting! There was just one part I was confused by: “Searches should be able to look for incoming links to a given site”? Can you explain what you meant?

@brentsimmons Has anyone yet mentioned Gabe Weatherhead's nerdquery.com ? It's very focused, but I use it!

@brentsimmons Something like this could also give us a way to see web-wide comments/mentions if blog posting software threw in an “in-reply-to” field.

@davextreme I wouldn’t be surprised to find an IndieWeb spec for that. That would be useful indeed.

@brentsimmons A lot of great ideas in that post.👌 I’ve been tinkering away, trying to see if I could implement some of them. I’m wondering how to obtain every entries ever published, if only crawling the RSS feeds?🤔 Since blogs usually publish a fixed amount of recent posts...
