@brentsimmons is there a way to do this on the iOS version (when using iCloud sync)? Looks like it syncs with twitter accounts when the Mac version syncs. Loving having this as an option though :)
@th3storysofar Yes. It works on iOS and with iCloud sync. You do need to set up your Twitter account in the app in both places, so you can log in with Twitter.
@brentsimmons didn’t know this was possible, going to be useful for some local (such as council/police etc..) feeds
@brentsimmons oh okay interesting. I'll play around with it a bit more. Thanks for responding!
@brentsimmons as a mostly read-only participant, I like the idea in practice, but I found it fell down by missing out on conversations between people you follow. Not sure what the solution is there.
@magnus919 They turned off RSS like 10 years ago. RSS readers with Twitter integration are using the Twitter API — but of course your point stands in that we could have our access removed at any moment with no warning.
@brentsimmons This is glorious, I had no idea NNW did this. My only remaining semi-important birdsite use was monitoring a few searches. Thank you.
@brentsimmons that’s what I’ve been doing. The extra benefit is that it made me realise the unnecessary accounts I was following 😂
