Why else have a blog if not for this. 🙃

@simonwoods I am finding Feedbin’s native Twitter following in my RSS reader is a superb “solution”

@jsonbecker That's definitely one of the ways I would experiment with filtering. Like a better version of using Lists maybe?

@simonwoods yeah I mean I just brought my follows down to stuff I really felt I’d miss and my twitter time is 20% what it was.

@simonwoods Twitter became bearable for me once I went through my follow list and unfollowed everyone who constantly irritated me. Then I got rid of most of the news sources (I think Guardian, AFP and BBC are left.) Finally, I got rid of all the talking head opinion wonks because hearing "the sky is falling" with every tweet is irritating even if I agree with them.

@bradenslen Whenever I see people using Twitter for news I am confused, with one exception: live events. Of course, web feed technologies are also nowhere near broadly supported so I suppose this fractured system was inevitable.

@pratik we'd have no web without it!

@jsonbecker Starting to think this is how to get around the fact that the pinned lists feature will never ever be made available to third-party devs.

@bix I can't do that many, not as a single timeline. Twitter has ruined the possibility for that to work for me. Lists are a whole other situation, however, if I stick with using a native app; the other option I'm considering is using Feedbin's integration, as mentioned by Jason.
