Work continues on our new house up north. 🏡

This week the roof trusses were put in place.

@bradenslen The immediate surrounds are a lot of newish houses, built since around 2000 and we're part of a development where there will be about 100 new houses going up over the next few years. The slightly wider area is a beach community with some older properties. Not far away is the now decommissioned Marsden Oil Refinery — this was partly the housing and service centre for that. Now nearby they're building a solar and energy storage farm.

@davidmarsden It is indeed. I guess the next stages will be slow. Once the cladding's on it'll be all that slow stuff with internal walls and doors, detail work with individual components, rather than whacking up pre-built frames.
