“Oh gosh no. I was terrible.”
@kitt I fenced a bit in college as well and I was terrible at it. Actually, I got introduced to fencing in a high school drama class but that was for stage. In college it was an intro portion of a gym class, but my friends and I carried on practicing on our own. We'd all grown up watching too many swashbuckling movies. None of us were any good at it but it was fun.
@bradenslen I had one match against the Division 3 champion. I stood there on the piste at the start of the bout just giggling for a minute, unable to move. She just walked up and tapped me for a touch, then walked back to her starting position. I was fine after that, but hooboy, embarrassing!
