@chrisaldrich This is a blast from the past. These photos could be the typewriter my grandparents gave me, new in the early 1970’s just before I entered high school. It’s the typewriter that saw me through university.

At $18 you got a great buy and I’m jealous. As you point out with the features, this manual typewriter had just about everything you could cram into a portable and it all works! And IMHO it has an attractive design to it to boot.

I’m happy you found such a great bargain.
