@bradenslen I have a Pelican and two Lamy pens that are my writing instruments of choice. I also buy pilot Varsity throwaways by the dozen. The Pelican is the pretty one 😉.

@bradenslen you had me with the title. Nice choice of pen, I'm a bit more drawn to the fine and stub nibs but my cross medium nib is nice too (well was before I squashed it).

@ChrisJWilson For tighter writing, like in the margins of books, I think I would like a fine nib, but for jotting I thought medium might lend some speed. I'm sure I have a couple of fine nib pens in storage.

@Marty Most of the fountain pens a collected a few years ago were Chinese copies of Real Expensive Pens. I'm pretty sure I have at least one Scheaffer and one Parker in that mix. I'll have to root around.

I know, whatever pen I carry around with me, out of the house, needs to be inexpensive, because I tend to lose pens.

I suppose all the ink cartridges I bought back then are no good anymore. I'll have to get fresh ones.
