@bradenslen really interesting and useful post. I was supriesd that micro.blog dosen't get webmentions. I also wonder round point 1, can you feed rss into you hosted micro.blog? you could then auto post pinboard?

@johnjohnston On pinboard, I would hesitate to do that. Pinboard is also where I collect links that are, not secret, but not worth publication. Stuff that may only be of interest to me, or elements being collected for Total World Domination. :-)

@bradenslen @johnjohnston You can specify tags in a pinboard RSS feed. Then you could just add a “worth_sharing” tag to separate out the links you want to cross post.

@bradenslen @bruce @johnjohnston ... works like a charm. Funny I keep forgetting pinboard but the extensions and tagging system it has a are truly remarkable. I have created a new tag john.philpin - which now routes through to this stream … just tested. Onwards - and thankyou.

@Bruce @bradenslen for awhile I used to do this sort of thing: a tag in pinboard pulled into my blog by FeedWordPress plugin as a draft.
