It's cool that we can engage with fediverse replies on Threads, but it also emphasizes how awkward it is to have no idea who liked your post. 🤷‍♂️

@jasongraphix it's also really weird and kinda dumb that the replies are private on Threads and you can only mention 1 Threads user, AND it has to be a reply to a post already on threads. I cant just @ you in my own post and expect you to recieve it.😬

@jasongraphix I'm commenting on this from Micro.Blog, but I have no idea if you actually can see it. Love the idea of open social networks, but the details are challenging.

@BeAware @jasongraphix@threads.net and that there's an intentional 5min delay, and that replies to replies show up but you miss the thread and... 😏 there's a lot of room for improvement.

@jasongraphix@me.dm @BeAware @jasongraphix@threads.net I wonder how many of these are temporary solutions because they're still figuring out the backend, or if long-term they intend to keep fediverse likes/replies in a separate grouping from everything else

@tom @BeAware @jasongraphix@threads.net I'm curious about that as well. I'm sure some of those decisions are based on trust and safety requirements, but they really limit the practicality of the integration.
