@benwerd My two cents: When I follow someone I prefer all their writing in one place. I follow because I am interested in the person as well as the writing. I don't want to sign up or subscribe via RSS more than once.
@benwerd -- my flow has changed a lot over the years, trying out all kinds of combos. i still have more than one flow, but most of it is concentrated on my home page in the form of a mixture of long and short posts. there's also a linkblog attached (as a tab) and they go out to Bluesky and Mastodon and have their own RSS feed. Every night at midnight a package goes out with everything I posted to the main blog and to the link blog. lately i've added a "news product" and that is starting to grow far beyond the blog in terms of reach. I just posted about that on my blog and in one of my occasional posts to micro.blog. it's complicated in other words. but somehow i manage. ;-)
