@benwerd Hmm. Are you seriously arguing that Mastodon’s (apparent) poor UX enables Trump, racism and fascism, but Threads (apparent) good UX could have saved us, but for the “bad taste” of Facebook?
Also, I’ll bet you whatever you like that Threads will be of zero interest in 6 months time.
@benwerd Threads “worked” because it had the instant user base of Instagram. People are happy to ignore Facebook’s current and past issues, if they get an audience.
