@baldur I wrote a little COBOL in the past. I can’t imagine what the offer would have to be to get me to consider writing it again!

To give it credit though, having a standard form of Sort built into the language was an excellent idea given the purpose of the language.

@baldur When I saw the title for the article the first thing I thought was it is not only the government that has this problem, it is also businesses especial those in traditional manufacturing.
