The state of the laptop market has really deteriorated over the past few years.
@baldur 👍 I bought my last MacBook in 2013. I still have no desire to upgrade, because even just to stick with the *same* memory and HD size (16GB, 512GB), the cheapest MacBook pro option is £1,879!
I wouldn't have been able to believe it back when I bought it, that a laptop with those same options would still cost so much, seven years later!
