It’s becoming quite clear that many—if not most—people working in AI believe that language models are better at writing than people, diffusion models are better at art, and that their models display near-human behaviour.

@baldur I guess if you want soulless writing and bland art without interacting with other humans to get it, then yeah. My hope is that these AI products will prove to be as financially worthless as they are soulless. Ultimately the difference will matter to people spending money.
