The spirit of the original launcher Quicksilver lives on in Tuna.
@philbowell Unfamiliar with either, but the idea of quicksilver (a/k/a mercury) living on in tuna makes me want to swear off fish.
@philbowell Oh goodness. I’ve tried every launcher for the Mac, but nothing matches Quicksilver. I may have to try Tuna, though I’m fairly invested now in Alfred.
@ayjay I have temporarily paused my Alfred us to give this a try. Nothing has ever clicked with me the way quicksilver did.
@ReaderJohn ha! Yes, I’m not sure the names ever make sense but quicksilver was the best app launcher utility the Mac ever had.
@philbowell The Quicksilver comma trick was life-changing for me.
@philbowell @ayjay COMMA TRICK WORKS! I’m in a similar situation in that I’ve developed personalized workflows in Alfred, but my launcher neural pathways were blazed in days of Quicksilver.
