Hey look DJI just announced my Christmas present www.youtube.com/watch - very happy I decided to wait and not get the new GoPro. Although they are slightly different things.
@alexsavin how are they different? and latest GoPro says you don’t really need a mechanical gimble, not sure how true that is. I want an Osmo, if it actually shoots decent photos too, will wait for reviews.
@arturi They are a bit different form factors - for example i'm not 100% sure if you could do skydiving with Pocket Osmo, while GoPro is a prime choice for such activity. As for the stabilisation - Osmo site claims better clarity and sharpness with mechanical stabilisation as opposed to digital, which (i believe) GoPro is doing. Decent photos should be fine with Osmo as it using the same camera module as (newer) DJI drones - I'm shooting RAW with my first generation Mavic and it is perfectly fine for the purpose. Also, those sweet stabilised long exposures.
