💬 Lettres Décoratives: Is a Celebration of Fin de Siècle Sign Painters and Vibrant Letterforms
I have gotten through the last 15 years or so not even coming across the expression ‘Fin de Siècle’ - much less using it in anger - and now three times in less than a week!

@JohnPhilpin We’re far enough into the present century not to need to hold the idea at bay. We’ve partly overcome our fear of it.

… though I fear the pessimism, world-weariness and dare I say l’ennui will continue - at least until the first coffee of the new era kicks in!
