@Gabz my sister used to live in PR, not sure I’ve ever mentioned that. Her husband was stationed there. The family went down for two weeks and we travelled the north and west end of the island, and inland to Aricebo. Such a wonderful and beautiful experience, other than flying around a hurricane on our way (it was early September).

@Gabz oh yeah, that trip was in 2004, so nearly 20 years for me! The weirdest part of the flight was actually on the way back, as this was only shortly after 9/11 and they hadn’t gotten all the strict security theater stuff in place quite yet (everywhere) and I was allowed to fly back with bottles of rum in my carry-on that I held between my feet 😱
