Days after the storm I’m still coming across giant, downed trees. I found this one on my run today and it literally stopped me in my tracks.
@cheesemaker This looks like the PNW, we had a terrible ice storm here in the Willamette Valley. A few days ago I drove around SE Portland and it was just tree bits and carnage everywhere, nearly every road’s shoulder and sidewalk (if it has one) covered with limbs, detritus, etc. Going to take a while for things to get cleaned up and some are still without power more than a week on.
@anniegreens definitely enjoyed it - huddled in my house with minimal insulation trying to stay warm because my heater couldn’t keep up, every now and then also having to throw snow gear on and chase one of my garbage bins that was blowing down the road… 💀🤣🫠
