Planning out my new analogue-based system for different kinds of notes in full and it feels good.

A rule I just developed: No personal notes begin digitally.

@SimonWoods I’d be very interested in reading more about this… 😉

@SimonWoods I'm intrigued. Having recently realised digital tools don't work for me for a whole load of things (journaling, task lists, notes) I'd be interested to hear more about your new approach

@ekcragg @pimoore I'm still firmly encamped in the tech optimist side of the broader discussion, however I have also realised that I cam uncomfortable with being tech-dependant. This, combined with upcoming changes to my family's capabilities (read: having some disposable income) means that I can finally attempt to establish something of a substantive approach to these ideas.

Also: pens and notebooks are super pretty and feel nice.

@SimonWoods @ekcragg Couldn’t agree more with your last point.

@SimonWoods I hope you will write about how your system is working out. Always interested in how people navigate analog / digital balance.

@annahavron Thanks, Anna. I'm looking forward to writing about it, especially since it's been nothing but fun so far. Separation and context-specific environments are powerful ideas, that's for sure.
