@MitchWagner Slicing through packaging tape with your box cutter doesn't give you joy? It's second to peeling off the plastic film off new gadgets.

@pratik I used to like popping bubble wrap, but it’s gotten old. @mitchwagner I’m on a decluttering path myself, and I can see that the box opener doesn’t bring me joy, because it only adds clutter. It’s complicated… 😔

@MitchWagner Marie Kondō is interesting, but I think her method can be overwhelming. You might take a look at Dana K. White's book "Decluttering at the Speed of Life." No staging area needed! She was also dealing with a lot of stuff and also found subjective questions confounding. I found her book very practical and helpful. Plus, it was funny.
