@amit How would you compare iA Writer to Ulysses and the write.as Editor for writing blog posts?
@moonmehta Ulysses is a lot more polished, well integrated. Feels native which after all it is. iA Writer is a bit minimal, feature wise. I love Ulysses overall for writing. But is way too costly (another subscription) and the Library model for posts is terrible. It for some reason is always syncing.
Write.as editor is a whole different experience given it is web-based. Still closer to iA Write I would say than Ulysses.
@amit Thanks. Is it possible to change the font on iA Writer to Serif instead of Monospace which seems to be the default?
@amit Thanks. Found a support page that confirms they have those three same font options, which is not ideal for me since I love Serif for writing!
@moonmehta Yeah. You must enjoy write.as editor then.
@pratik Oh, I was always on the Mac. Just not exclusively. I have an iMac and a linux laptop. And an Android phone 😁
@abc Thank you David for your kind words. I always thought I could never write candidly. But I do try 😊
@amit I thought you were looking for a web writing experience coz you were on Windows, and there weren’t any native apps that you preferred. I may have been mistaken
@amit Indeed! The trouble I faced there was that even though I was willing to pay for write.as Pro, the payment system stopped working for Indian cards. And there’s no response from Support, which is practically non-existent just like Feedbin.
@pratik Not for Windows — I love web interface because I have consistent experience across platforms. There was a time when I had a work Windows laptop. Don’t have it anymore.
@moonmehta I faced the same issue. An email to Matt (or was it on the help forum?) sorted the issue for me.
