what the fuck… Audible doesn’t keep your place in a book?

I can leave a paper bookmark in a paper book and it can easily stay there for months, even years! But this American megacorp with its monopolies and bullshit can’t keep my place in the story? ugh

@amit @gdp I must have had some bad luck. However, I think I much prefer local when it comes to this type of thing; the idea of "oops my book doesn't work/suddenly disappeared because [insert internet reason]" leaves me cold.
