@JohnPhilpin Thank you John! I guess it causes a lot more anxiousness to put your voice out there. May be it wasnโt the case for you with your first episode. You sounded way too confident. And calm :-)
@amit hah - if you were here - you would have seen the sweat glands pouring. What is really strange is that I was ... am in fact ... more nervous about the podcast than I have ever been standing live in front of some very large audiences.
Also ... interesting that we have a similar idea about our future production โฆ.
When I get going, some of my microcasts will definitely be like you are doing โฆ reading my stories. Tho mine are not fiction - they emerge from live conversations I have with people.
@amit Very well done. You read the story so well. Love the cliffhanger. Subscribing. Thanks! PS. I listed this in the directory.
@JohnPhilpin the nervousness you talk about didnโt reflect in your voice. So that helped overall I think ๐๐ฝ
On future episodes, I specifically want to keep it about fiction. The short stories I have written and may write. I realised as a medium, it makes sense if things narrated are ones we understand. So will always be personal I guess ๐
@bradenslen Thank you Brad, glad you liked the narration. Initially I didnโt want to leave story incomplete - but then I thought it would be best if this post just remained as introduction. May be I will release the first episode earlier.
And thank you for adding it in the directory. I couldnโt find the microscast section though. Can you point me to it?
@amit I have just listened and subscribed. I very much enjoyed listening to you and the story. I look forward to more to come.
@crossingthethreshold Thank you David. So glad you liked it. I plan to keep the weekly schedule going, so the first episode should be out soon ๐
@simonwoods Sure. Planโs to get the first episode out sooner and then keep the weekly schedule going. And thank you for featuring this as part for your weekly review. Glad you liked what you listened to ๐๐ฝ๐
@amit Has this been done before? I suppose it has but I never encountered it before. I love the idea of an author seralizing their own short stories in a microcast.
@bradenslen Sure, it must have been tried, but even I havenโt come across one. I thought it made sense if I could channel the feeling of a character I write.
Again fiction podcasts are something I do enjoy. But those I listen to are typically extremely well-produced, with multiple voices, which this surely wonโt be ๐ฌ
