I’m in the process of importing content from my previous blogs/sites to my Micro.blog page and I’m frustrated. Back years ago when I used Squarespace, I didn’t host images on a separate service and now those old images are all dead links.
@mangochutney this is problem for me too. I can't recount how many times have I broken the images in post. And since my recent switch to micro.blog, they are broken again.
So where do you typically host the images? Is this problem solved for you?
@amit It is. I have a separate photo site on smugmug.com and I use a hidden album to host pictures I link on the site. That way, if I ever move to a different platform, these will stay intact.
