Never seen the Tyne so high. Left work today to find parts of the path along the Quayside on the Newcastle side of the Swing Bridge blocked off by flood defences 😮

@hall nice! That is certainly after my time. I was up there since I was 14/15 (I could fly before I was allowed to drive 😅) so that puts me around 2001… roughly. Shame NCL airport changed so much.

@vincent ah yes, the Tuxedo Princess with its revolving dance floor. A staple of student nights out for me. It’s been gone about 15 years now though 😳
