I went down a huge rabbit hole today. Investigating self hosting photo libraries and oh my it gets complicated. 🎞️
@alpower Immich-app is my favourite. Face recognition and searches are very good. Including the categorising. Much better than Google and Apple.
You can tweak the face recognition and similar photos. Apple found a dozen similar photos. Immich found 800 based on size and deep learning. I was shocked at the difference.
