@simonwoods Exactly why we wanted to move. There are some parts of the south-east and London can be fun but they can’t compare to this.

@alongtheray Indeed. I pulled up the car, turned the engine off and went to the water’s edge just watching and listening. Could have stayed for hours.

@crossingthethreshold They’re both parts of the Lancashire Moors, the second one is in the Trough of Bowland.

@colinwalker There are times when I really do miss the British countryside.
