Preordering a car online feel strange …

I bought my last car 13 years ago. And I was still used to the classic pattern that a car is ordered from a car dealer and not on the internet. Times are changing.
@alienlebarge Very cool. My next car will be electric but I need one with 4-wheel drive because of where we live. Considering the Subaru offering but don't want to be the early adopter in this first model year.
@agilelisa Same for use. We choose the Smart because we wanted a "small" electric 4WD car. Winters are pretty snowy where we live.
