@alexsavin I sometimes have the feeling that there are multiple definition of easy and accessible – the same as with the hotness scales used in restaurants for chilli dishes ;-)

@V_ very true - I’ve seen descriptions like “one of the easiest hikes - only 6 hours on average”

@alexsavin I’ve experienced something similar. But after almost falling into the icy waters, and gotten on a the other side, we discovered that there was a bridge 100m down river, hidden behind a little hill. 🤦🏻‍♂️ But another part of the hike was described as a bit “airy”, and turned out to be a 45° declination, (with our 30kg backpacks).

@odd ahh crazy! Don’t think I’d be able to climb that!

@alexsavin The climb up was actually quite modest, this was the downhill route. The rain made it worse, so it was a lot of hoping each slide wasn’t going to be the last.
