British island is about the same size as Finland, however driving long distances with a car (think Helsinki - Oulu) seems to take much longer. Highways are in permanent traffic jam, and rest of the roads are made mostly of roundabouts.

@alexsavin I haven't driven Helsinki-Oulu but are you sure that you're not just getting bored by just seeing trees (I assume there is a lot of forest there)

@jemostrom Forests are long gone in the U.K. apart from rare plots in national parks and some bits in Scotland. I do miss Finnish forests.
