I don’t understand. There are recipies and techniques online for adding egg to coffee granules before brewing, but the point here seems to be the eggshell. What am I missing?

@adoran2 A friend of mine used to do this on horsepacking trips: I think the idea with "cowboy coffee" is that grounds adhere to the egg shell so that you can pour it without a filter. Does it work? I don't know; but that guy could really flyfish.
@alans Interesting! Still puzzling though — no room for carrying filters but you do have some eggs with you. 🤷♂️
