@SimonWoods @furstenberg Rogue One was a very pleasant surprise, much better than I was expecting.
@pimoore @furstenberg Probably my favorite Star Wars movie since Disney took over. Great story, beautiful shots, likable characters.
@odd Honestly, I don’t think it matters much at all about the order for the rest. The sequel trilogy was disappointing and forgettable except for Force Awakens, IMO. If you are going to watch it though, I’d suggest leaving Rogue One for last, and end on a high note. 😉
Solo was ok, but nothing close to RO.
@pimoore I only own four Star Wars movies. The original three in the unmastered format and Rogue One.
@furstenberg Rogue One will always be special to many fans for breaking the Star Wars mold. I feel like it’s responsible for paving the way forward for series like The Mandalorian, Bad Batch, and Andor.
@furstenberg The best of all the recent ones, by far !!
@pimoore Force Awaken is my favorite of the new trilogy. That said, I think The Last Jedi has some of my favorite shots of any movie.
@gregmoore I could see that. I also think both Clones Wars and Rebels contributed a lot there.
I’ve really liked what Dave Filoni has done, continuing in Lucas role as the creative force.
@furstenberg TLJ did have some very impressive shots, full credit there. It’s just unfortunate it didn’t capitalize on the potential.
@gregmoore @furstenberg The first time I saw the blind warrior—whose name escapes me—in RO, I realized some serious shit was about to go down.
I was not disappointed.
Right then I realized I was going to enjoy the movie.
