@gregmorris This is coming together really nicely. The photos tab is such a great idea, and thank goodness for side-scrolling photos in posts. Now if you were able to implement Threads-style previews where they keep their original aspect ratio and did the cool pinch-to-pano thing, I’d be in heaven. 😘

@gregmorris This sounds intriguing! So far, there is not a really good option to consume micro’blog on iOS for VoiceOver users. Apps that worked have been abandoned, and the official app unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. So every new idea is exciting!

@MarcoZehe that’s a really good point Marco. I’ll work on that too. I’d already considered adding high contrast options and reduced motion so I will definitely look into this

@pratik there’s a lot more to consider when making a first party app. You have to build it for everyone.

However this is just iOS and uses mostly swift UI components. I am really zeroing in on what I want from an app and hopefully others like it too.

@jagibson I really appreciate the support! ❤️ I don’t think beta testing is far away to be honest so I’ll let you know.

@jarrod yeah I wouldn’t go that far. Although I used your recent video so much to test video playback I might owe you something!

@gregmorris That is good to hear! Since you’re already using SwiftUI components, you’ll get most stuff for free. There are probably only some minor tweaks to make. WWDC has some good videos on SwiftUI VoiceOver accessibility.

@MarcoZehe great! Thanks for the tip. I watched a few at the weekend on features so I’ll dive into this soon. I’ll make this a priority

@pratik there’s pros and cons… as with everything.

It’s really easy to build a UI, with the downside in that everything looks the same.
