I’ve been finding life very challenging recently. I keep saying this, even though I’m tired of speaking it. Because it keeps ramping up. I think it’s best to acknowledge that and be honest – to admit I’m having a tough time.
I think so many of us are. But not many like to talk about it.
@aeryn I’m sorry to hear that. Life can indeed be hard, and it’s very individual how one experiences it. I hope you know where to go if it’s getting unbearable, and that there are places to go. I am experiencing difficulties with aspects of life myself at the moment, living in a “home” for people with disabilities, due to mental health issues. I take it on a day by day basis, an are not in so bad shape mentally that I need hospitalisation, but maybe need someone in the system to talk with. 💚
@odd thank you, I do go to a support center and there are a handful of people I can speak to. It helps but the intensity doesn't really ease. It's just helpful to know people are there, you know? I'm learning to ask people to listen instead of always being a lone wolf. I'm sorry to hear you also experience difficulties. These are tough times to need help, there doesn't seem to be much of it out there (in my opinion at least). I'm on a couple of message apps if you want to add me 💜
@aeryn it is always difficult to consider where you are when life is getting sour. I don't struggle with it but see close friends and family that face a daily grind. I just try to be kind and listen. You can't fix much but to encounter and hold kindness pushes those clouds away, just a bit.
@aeryn Yes, thinking as late as today about contacting special health services. Sure! I mean, I’m a bit of a skeptic when it comes to some online chats, but I’m on Signal as odd.46
