“While he was still a long way off,” from the parable of the Prodigal Son, is one of my favorite minor phrases in the Bible. What’s yours?
@joshuapsteele Earlier in Luke 15, before we get to the “good stuff,” i.e., lost sheep, lost coin, lost son, there’s this: “And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, ‘This man receives sinners and eats with them.’” Not a minor phrase, but it’s easy to miss in that chapter.

Maybe not my fav, but the first that come to mind.
