It’s amazing the difference removing the feeling that the clock is ticking on your trip out makes.
@adders Nice piece, but I'm slightly confused by your comment. As far as I understood, there was never a time limit on going outside for exercise. Am I wrong? If there was a limit, how long was it?
@devilgate There was never a formal limit, no. But various ministers suggested between 30 minutes and 1 hour - and there was a distinct sense of policing going on by others, that manifested most clearly on Facebook.
I personally felt that sense of being policed by the community far more than my wife, say.
