@adders I haven't read your whole post yet but I'm not surprised to see Cummings' choice of medium criticised by somebody who works for a large media company. They have all -- every level of employee involved in publishing included -- bought into the Silicon Valley model of publication to the point of cultish thinking; any threat to the infrastructure must immediately be met with hostility, no exceptions included.

@simonwoods I hope that’s not 100% true, as I make the majority of my living being one of those threats to the infrastructure in journalism businesses. 😉

@adders interesting piece. i think more communication is a good thing though, no matter the source. let people get info with and without the media middlemen, who in my experience are often pretty baised themselves.
