Apparently Google is 33 years old today(!)
@odd Google's own history page says 1998. Research project started in 1996, domain purchased in 1997, company incorporated in 1998. So, it's between 24 and 26 years old, depending on where you view it as starting.
@adders All of which makes me feel very old, but not as old as my students make me feel when I mention Lycos and AltaVista.
